Well, I Squeaked by a tough finals match to Win 8 – 4 Diamond Billiards Richmond in the 9-Ball Wheelchair Championship. Great tournament, and great host location, you got to try the Bangin Shrimp WOW, it really was banging… 
Thanks to the PVA (Paralyzed Veterans of America) and NWPA (National Wheelchair Poolplayers Association) for a magnificent event. Thanks Also to Parker at Van Products, Inc. For the sweet Wheelchair accessible van rental for the last 2 tournaments, it made the trip even better. Thru God’s blessing all things are possible, 1 year ago just to get away we went to play in this same tournament, after not playing for almost 15 years. I finished 4th, but caught the pool bug again, vowing that I was gonna start playing more and putting in the work towards going back and winning this year 2023. So, i joined every league in town, Cape Fear UPA, APA, BCA and NAPA. While playing every tournament I could find that was being played at a reasonable old person’s time, like early noon or lunchtime. 
Well just goes to show that faith, perseverance and hard work can even help an oldie like me be a goodie a second time around too.
